Marine Survey
In 2022, the Northeast Aquatic Nuisance Species Panel solicited information about the region’s (New England, New York, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Québec, and Prince Edward Island) work and involvement with marine invasive species using an online survey. The Panel is one of six of the federal Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force. The objective is to form a regional response to invasive plants and animals through communication, coordination, and collaboration.
The Panel’s Marine Work group reached out to those working on marine invasive species in the region to identify gaps in marine invasive work, and to help build a community. A dashboard of the results can be viewed by clicking here.
